Compensation: $85,000 – $110,000 (commensurate with experience)

A leading New York–based financial services firm is seeking a Bookkeeper / Senior Accounting Associate to support daily accounting operations and ensure financial accuracy across all business units. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment alongside experienced financial and operations executives.

• Manage all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
   
• Process and reconcile bank deposits, wire transfers, and bill payments.
   
• Prepare and manage biweekly payroll and related reporting.
   
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with GAAP standards.
   
• Reconcile monthly bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
   
• Assist with expense tracking, vendor management, and budget monitoring.
   
• Collaborate with management to streamline accounting procedures and maintain internal controls.
   
• Support year-end audit preparation and assist external accountants as needed.
   

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
   
• 10–15 years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience.
   
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online).
   
• Solid understanding of banking, payroll, and general accounting principles.
   
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
   
• Experience within a Broker-Dealer, Financial Services, or FinTech environment is a plus but not required.
   
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software tools.
   

• Competitive base salary range: $75,000 – $100,000, based on qualifications and experience.
